Thank you again for participating in the ACQ Subcommittee Meeting that took place on January 10th. The Developmental Disabilities Supports Division (DDSD), who is working with Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) heard valuable feedback which we used to improve the instructions and messaging of the rate study tools (the time study and cost report). Providers and vendors will receive instructions and invitations to training webinars this week.
The rate study is well underway for the Developmental Disabilities (DD), Mi Via (MV), and Medically Fragile (MF) Waiver services. Providers have received the cost report, and time study tools to prepare for completing them. These tools did not include Mi Via services, except for Consultant services. This is because in current policy, Mi Via rate ranges are based on what Medicaid currently pays for similar services under the Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver. Based on this policy, PCG’s recommended rate ranges for the Mi Via services in the scope of this rate study will be a range-based on the rate for the comparable DD Waiver services.
