Department of Health, Walgreens partner for COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Las Cruces
Up to 2,400 COVID-19 vaccine doses available by appointment
SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Health and Walgreens Pharmacy are partnering for an indoor vaccination clinic on the New Mexico State University campus in Las Cruces Saturday, April 17th. Vaccine is available by appointment only, with residents ages 16 and over able to choose the time of their appointment.
The clinic will be located at the Pan American Center with 2,400 appointments available for scheduling between 9am to 5pm. The clinic will be dispensing the Pfizer vaccine, which means individuals vaccinated will be scheduled for secondary doses.
Residents wishing to be vaccinated must pre-register online at vaccinenm.org. There they can use the event code ‘DACVAX’ to choose their appointment time. Additional information about accessing the clinic will be provided after an appointment is confirmed.
The Department of Health can also assist those who need help registering for the event – including those who do not have internet access. Please call the COVID-19 hotline at 1-855-600-3453, press option 0 (zero) for vaccine questions, and then option 4 for tech support.
The vaccination clinic is being held in collaboration with the Doña Ana County/City of Las Cruces Office of Emergency Management, New Mexico State University, and the New Mexico National Guard.
