Gay-Straight Alliance Network

A next-generation racial and gender justice organization that empowers and trains queer, trans and allied youth leaders to advocate, organize, and mobilize an intersectional movement for safer schools and healthier communities. Our overall strategy for fighting for educational justice is to work with grassroots, youth-led groups and GSAs, empowering them to educate their schools and communities, advocate for just policies that protect youth from harassment and violence, and organize in coalition with other youth groups across identity lines to address broader issues of oppression.

Hand Hygiene Day

Clean hands prevent infections. Keeping hands clean prevents illness at home, at school, and at work. Hand hygiene practices are key prevention measures in healthcare settings, in daycare facilities, in schools and public institutions, and for the safety of our food.

Highly-trained peer advocates offer support, information and advocacy to young people who have questions or concerns about their dating relationships. We also provide information and support to concerned friends and family members, teachers, counselors, service providers and members of law enforcement. Free and confidential phone, live chat and texting services are available 24/7/365.

New Mexico Alliance for School-Based Health Care

The Alliance represents over 70 School-Based Health Centers within New Mexico and collaborates with other partners to promote, facilitate, and advocate for comprehensive, culturally competent health care, including health education, in schools.

Developed for the purpose of providing guidelines and recommendations to school nurses and other school health personnel for coordinated school health practice and programs throughout the state.

Developed by Futures Without Violence in partnership with the Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women and the Advertising Council, That’s Not Cool is an award winning national public education initiative speaking to youth about healthy relationships and helping them recognize, avoid, and prevent dating violence in their lives.

Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico

A community based organization and we are always in need of items for folks as well as just plain old cash. We accept donated items like clothing, pillows, blankets, backpacks, shoes, ready to eat food like granola bars, fruit cups, noodles and non-perishable items.
