Electronic Laboratory Reporting
This page discusses several interoperability topics relative to electronic laboratory reporting.
Meaningful Use Compliance
To receive an Electronic Laboratory Reporting (ELR) Compliance letter necessary for Meaningful Use compliance, hospitals must be in the process of onboarding electronic lab reporting or be actively engaged in electronic lab reporting.
Onboarding
Labs or hospitals that wish to begin or continue the onboarding process should contact the ELR Electronic Laboratory Reporting Coordinator through the doh-elr-onboard@doh.nm.gov email address.
Fax Numbers for Reporting
Until a program has been onboarded with ELR and has received confirmation that the feed has been approved, hospitals and laboratories must continue to fax relevant laboratory reports to NMDOH.
