Learning Management Center
The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) Learning Management Center’s purpose is to enhance individual skills and knowledge by offering training and development opportunities in alignment with the Department’s Mission, Vision & Values and identified set of core competencies.
NMDOH is committed to a workforce with diverse skills and perspectives. The Learning Management Center actively works to identify and address knowledge gaps through competency-based assessments and development activities which include:
- Content Design and Delivery
- Just-in-time training development
- Continuing education courses availability
- Certification programs development
- State and federal training requirements compliance
- Workshops and new employee orientation coordination and facilitation
- Training and compliance systems management and support
The Learning Management Center partners with multiple organizations throughout New Mexico and the United States, such as:
- Aging and Long Term Services
- New Mexico State Personnel Office
- Centers for Disease Control
- Public Health Foundation
TRAIN New Mexico
TRAIN is a program of the Public Health Foundation and is the premier learning resource for professionals who protect and promote the public's health. TRAIN New Mexico is the New Mexico affiliate site of TRAIN. Public Health professionals in New Mexico can utilize TRAIN New Mexico to find timely and relevant learning opportunities in the topics of public health, healthcare, behavioral health, and preparedness.
