This comprehensive, competency-based training uses evidence-based information and case studies to prepare patient navigators to effectively address barriers to care for cancer patients and survivors. The development of this training was supported by Cooperative Agreement #5U38DP004972 and #5NU58DP006461 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is currently supported by Cooperative Agreement #NU58DP007539 from the CDC.

Global Burden of Disease Study

The Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study is the largest and most comprehensive effort to date to measure epidemiological levels and trends worldwide. With more than 1,000 collaborators from 108 countries participating in the most recent update, we are always working to expand the collaborative network. Enrollment is now open for the next round, which will produce estimates through the end of 2015.
