Caregiver Action Network

The Caregiver Action Network is the nation’s leading family caregiver organization working to improve the quality of life for the than 90 million Americans who care for loved ones with chronic conditions, disabilities, disease, or the frailties of old age. We serve a broad spectrum of family caregivers ranging from the parents of children with special needs, to the families and friends of wounded soldiers; from a young couple dealing with a diagnosis of MS, to adult children caring for parents with Alzheimer’s disease. We are a non-profit organization providing education, peer support, and resources to family caregivers across the country free of charge.

Chronic Disease Prevention Council

Formed in 1997, The Chronic Disease Prevention Council is a multidisciplinary body of experts seeking to reduce chronic disease in New Mexico. Through quarterly meetings, the Council creates a forum for collaboration and communication to break down disease specific silos and focus on prevention and control issues for chronic diseases, including arthritis, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and diseases related to obesity and tobacco use.

A multiyear national movement engaging federal, state and local leaders, public and private agencies, professionals and communities to employ quality improvement, innovation and collaborative learning to reduce infant mortality and improve birth outcomes.

Commission for the Blind

Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists

The Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists works to advance public health policy and epidemiologic capacity. We also provide information, education, and developmental support of practicing epidemiologists in a wide range of areas as well as expertise for program and surveillance efforts. We are an organization of member states and territories representing public health epidemiologists. We also work to establish more effective relationships among state and other health agencies. We also provides technical advice and assistance to partner organizations and to federal public health agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
