The Dog Head Fire Impacts WIC Services in Torrance County
The New Mexico Department of Health announced today that Women Infants and Children (WIC) services will not be available in Moriarty Friday, June 17 – Tuesday, June 21, 2016 due to the Dog Head Fire.
If you are from Torrance County, you can still receive services at any WIC office in the state. For the location closest to you, visit the Women, Infants and Children page or call 1-866-867-3124.
The eWIC card can be used at grocery stores throughout the state.
WIC is a federally funded supplemental food program for income-eligible women who are pregnant or post-partum, infants, and children up to age 5. The program is administered by the Department of Health.
