Many people who have a substance use disorder or who are helping someone with a substance use disorder feel overwhelmed when searching for treatment options and do not know where to being their search. This page will help you access local resources and treatment options to help yourself or your loved ones find the needed help.

The New Mexico Crisis and Access Line

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, NMCAL provides help to those who are experiencing a mental, emotional, and/or substance use related crisis. They can be reached through their website at NMCrisisLine.com or on the phone at 1-855-NMCRISIS (662-7474).

Healing Addiction in our Community

HAC works with individuals and families to help break the stigmas associated with substance use disorders. The above link provides access to a list of resources in many communities throughout New Mexico including clinics, pharmacies, and other important resources.

University of New Mexico Health Sciences ASAP Adult Program

The UNM program specializes in treating adults with a substance use disorder. Their New Start Program provides 12 weeks of treatment and at least two hours of contact to people with a substance use disorder on a weekly basis. The ASAP Adult Program also offers a women only group.
