  • EMS Rule changed we will now accept CE's done up until March 31 of the year renewing. For the first time ever, you now have the option to complete your renewal and pay the fees on the Portal. The New Mexico EMS Licensing Portal has been upgraded to support ACH (electronic check) payments, via the portal. Once the application is in a status of Payment Pending, you will have the option to make payment online in your account. This feature will expedite your renewal application as well!
    • Key Information:

      • New Mexico EMS Public Portal: All renewals must be submitted via the Licensing portal. To access your existing account on the portal click HERE. If you cannot remember your username or password, please use the Forgot Username or Forgot Password links to reset your login information. Do not create a duplicate account. NOTE: Duplicate accounts will be deleted.
      • New Online Payment Option: You may now pay the renewal fees using ACH transfer while in your account. Once your renewal application status is Payment Pending, you have the ability to select Checkout and then Pay Now. If you have a debit card, you may use the ACH option by entering your bank account routing number and account number.
      • Renewal Instructions: Detailed instructions for the renewal process are available on the New Mexico Department of Health website. Information is located in the renewal guide. To avoid late fees, submit your application BEFORE February 28, 2026. To voice a lapse with the state on your EMS or EMD license, submit your application BEFORE March 31, 2026.

Consent

This form should be used by the parents of children applying for EMSFR (need to be 16 yrs. old) or EMT-B licensure (need to be 17 yrs. old). Anyone 18 yrs. old does not need this form.
