This report details the methods and results of three of studies commissioned by the New Mexico Department of Health (NM DOH), conducted between March and June of 2022. The studies were designed to examine the current status of the Medical Cannabis Program in New Mexico, empirically investigate how and why medical cannabis patients in New Mexico use cannabis for medicinal purposes, and gain insights into how medical providers and practitioners make decisions when recommending medical cannabis use to qualified patients.
