Student's Right to Self-Administer Certain Medications [6.12.2.9 NMAC - N, 11-15-05]
New Mexico law requires all schools, whether public or private, to grant to any student in grades
K-12 authorization to carry and self-administer health care practitioner prescribed asthma
treatment medication, anaphylaxis emergency treatment medication, and diabetes treatment
