Mi Via Waiver Program

Mi Via, which means "my way" or "my road," is a new program that provides choices of goods and services to participants.  Participants have a key role and  responsibility in developing a flexible Service and Support Plan that meets their needs.

New Mexicans worked together to create Mi Via, which is one of the most progressive self-directed waiver programs in the nation. No other state has yet made self-direction available to all existing Home and Community-based Services Waivers (Developmental Disabilities, Medically Fragile, HIV, Disabled and Elderly) as well as persons living with a brain injury.
