New Mexico Helmet Use on Non-Motorized Vehicles 2007 & 2008. A Comparison of 2007 & 2008 Data From Five Communities in New Mexico.

New Mexico Injury Prevention Coalition Strategic Plan, 2008 - 2012. The plan, developed by the New Mexico Injury Prevention Coalition in cooperation with the Injury Prevention Section, provides specific goals and objectives to insure that effective, evidence-based injury prevention strategies are adequately funded and implemented in New Mexico. The plan also addresses the tremendous toll that injuries exact on our State – the pain and suffering, the cost, often the young lives lost or changed forever.

New Mexico Youth Risk and Resiliency Survey, 2007. The New Mexico Youth Risk and Resiliency Survey is a survey of public high school students (grades 9-12) and public middle school students (grades 6-8). The survey includes questions about risk behaviors (behaviors contributing to unintentional injury; behaviors associated with violence; mental health, suicidal ideation and suicide attempts; alcohol, tobacco and drug use; sexual activity; and physical activity, nutrition, and body weight) and resiliency (protective) factors.

New Mexico Violent Death, 2005. This report by the New Mexico Violent Death Reporting System (NM-VDRS) presents data from numerous sources including medical examiner records, death certificates, law enforcement investigations, and state crime labs in order to gain a more complete understanding of the circumstances and predisposing factors surrounding each violent death incident in New Mexico. This data will be used to recommend evidence-based intervention and prevention strategies.

New Mexico Violent Death, 2006. This is the second annual report by the New Mexico Violent Death Reporting System (NM-VDRS). This report showcases findings from 2006 for all types of violent deaths collected by the NM-VDRS: suicide, homicide, undetermined intent, firearm-related, and child deaths.
